CARE & MAINTENANCE

How should I wash linen sheets?

Linen sheets should be washed at no more than 40°C or 104°F using a mild detergent.

Unfold the linen fully before washing and avoid overloading the machine so the fabric can move freely. Do not use chlorine bleach. Line drying is preferred, but if tumble drying, use medium heat and remove the sheets while they are still slightly damp.

Will linen shrink in the wash?

Yes, linen can shrink slightly during the first wash, but not more than the indicated sizes.

To help preserve the size and finish of linen, wash at low temperatures, tumble dry on permanent press & remove from the dryer while still slightly damp.

Can you put linen sheets in the dryer?

Yes, linen sheets can be tumble dried on medium heat.

To help preserve the fabric, avoid overdrying and remove the sheets while they are still slightly damp. This helps reduce excessive creasing and limits unnecessary stress on the fibres.

Should linen be ironed?
Linen does not necessarily need to be ironed. Its natural wrinkles are part of linen’s relaxed, timeless character.

If preferred, linen can be lightly ironed or steamed while still slightly damp for a smoother, more polished finish.

How should I store my linen?

Linen should be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated space away from direct sunlight.

Avoid plastic containers or sealed bags, as linen is a natural fiber that needs to breathe.
Storing linen fully dry also helps prevent moisture buildup and keeps the fabric fresh over time.
